Todd Mosher earned his Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado, has two master's degrees in aerospace engineering and systems engineering from the University of Colorado and the University of Alabama respectively, and received his bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from San Diego State University. He is also a faculty member and graduate of the International Space University. Dr. Mosher is a genuine rocket scientist. He could literally put his gear in outer space.
What makes him especially cool is that he is raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. He successfully raised funds for the 5430 Sprint Triathlon June 17, and he is now training to participate in the Steamboat Springs Triathlon August 26, 2007 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training.
"I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers," says Dr. Mosher.
"These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!"
